Through combing and analysis of literature,and summarizing the current research status at home and abroad,it’s obvious that there are few researches on the use of mapping tools in English words recognition,and the existing works that used mapping tools are always seem to use single kind of the tools,such as mind mapping and English words reciting combined research and English words reciting combined research,research paradigms are onefold.Therefore,this study attempts to combine mapping tools with English words learning to develop research.In X primary school,through full investigation of English words’ teaching and learning condition of the school’s fourth grade,and according to the results of questionnaires and interviews,this arctic puts forward the systematic teaching design and practice of the English words teaching,it based on the systematic teaching design theory,and targetting the prominent problems in the teaching.Through the practice,it is found that the use of mapping tools for English words teaching can improve the correct rate of English words and improve the number of students to extract and reproduce them,meanwhile,the words are more vividly presented,it improves students’ classroom participation.Because of the lack of time and practical experience,there are some places in this study need to be improved.Still,we hope that the results of this study will provide reference for x primary school English teaching.
