At present China is facing a contradiction that the built environment can not meet the needs of leisure physical activity with the increasing ageing population.Improving the built environment and promoting the leisure physical activity to carry out scientific development, can improve the quality of life of the elderly, and add new meaning for the aging society of urban environmental planning. From the perspective of community built environment, this paper adopts the methods of literature, investigation, interview,mathematical statistics etc. on the theory of social ecology. This paper mainly makes an in-depth study on the present situation of 200 elderly people participating in leisurely physical activity in Baibuting Community of Wuhan City, and analyzes the interaction of the social factors of the population, the built environment perception and the leisure physical activity level in the elderly.Research result:1.There is a higher level of built environment perception and leisure physical activity than those who have no work and don't join the sports organization.2.when the elderly are engaged in leisure physical activity for the purpose of recognizing new friends and deepening their relationship and friendship with friends,the community built environment perception (r=0.623) and the level of leisure physical activity (r=0.462) will be positively correlated.3.The community built environment perception(r=0.538,0.413,0.70) and the level of leisure physical activity (r=0.655,0.558,0.515) are positively correlated with the management of cultural and sports facilities, commercial service facilities and community security management.The accessibility of public service space is negatively correlated with the environment perception of the elderly community (r=-0.379) and leisure physical activity(r= -0.488).4.The level of leisure physical activity is positively correlated with community built environment perception (r=0.617) and self - health (r=0.494). Community-generated environmental perception has a greater impact on the level of recreational physical activity in the elderly than in self-health.5. Whether to control the basic demographic variables, commercial service facilities,community security management and the level of leisure physical activity are positively correlated.Research conclusion:1.In the main aspects of social and ecological factors in the individual factors,actively joining the sports organizations and controlling of chronic diseases and increasing the disposable funds for the elderly in Baibuting Community of Wuhan City,contribute to the improvement of the level of leisure physical activity .2.To cultivate the good social relations of the elderly, to enhance self-cultivation, to maintain a pleasant attitude, to improve the level of leisure physical activity of the elderly in Baibuting Community of Wuhan City.3.Strengthening the elderly Baibuting community of Wuhan City build environmental awareness and reasonable self-health assessment can promote a significant impact of leisure physical activity.4.Improving the cultural and sports facilities,commercial service facilities,strengthening community security, facilities'post-management, reasonable planning of fitness places and shopping centers to residential district, and improving space convenience,can help the Baibuting community of Wuhan City to build a good environment perception of the formation and increase the leisure physical activity.5.According to the physiological, psychological and behavioral characteristics of leisure activities of the elderly in Baibuting Community of Wuhan City, the balance of supply and demand of leisure and entertainment facilities and its practicability can effectively increase the participation of leisure physical activities in the elderly.
