Objective: The urban built environment is the spatial carrier of the Leisure Time Physical Activity(LTPA)of the elderly, which is an important factor to promote the LTPA of the elderly. Therefore, the study is based on the association between individual behavior and external environmental factors in the social ecology model,to explore the subjective cognitive Built Environment(BE)for the elderly on the daily LTPA,to understand the Suzhou Industrial Park BE for LTPA of the elderly of the situation. As an important part of the daily personal behavior of the residents,This study attempts to explore the impact of residents' daily travel modes on LTPA of the elderly and to screen out the travel modes which to promote the LTPA has a positive impact. Methods: In this study, the elderly in the industrial park of Suzhou City, aged 60 years old were investigated. The physical activity scale was used to carry out the investigation and study. The physical activity scale for the Elderly(PASE))Were evaluated for LTPA and the perception of the environment was measured using the Neighborhood Environment Walkability Scale(NEWS),which began after the training of the researchers.Statistical methods were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis,chi-square test, independent sample T test, single factor analysis of variance, spearman correlation analysis and Logistic regression analysis,p <0.05 showed statistically significant. Results: 1.With the improvement of education level and income level, the older people preferred motorized travel(P <0.05).The better the health of the elderly prefer the non-motorized travel(P <0.01).2.In the perception of the built environment, there was differences between the different age groups(p <0.001),high age group in the perception of the BE's score higher than the score of low age group, there was differences between the different health status(p <0.001),elderly without chronic diseases in the perception of the BE's score is lower than the elderly with chronicdiseases. There was differences between the different income status(p <0.01),the higher the level of income is the lower the score of perceived built environment.3.the elderly with the education level, health status, income levels increased, the leisure walking time(LTW)per week gradually increased(p <0.05).4.There was a difference(p <0.05)between the sex, age, working status, health status, income level and LTPA of the elderly, women's LTPA time was significantly larger than men.The higher the income level and higher the education levels, the longer the LTPA time.Better health, higher levels of high-income elderly, the longer leisure time physical activity of the elderly 5.Different levels of leisure time walking is negatively associated with the cycling(1-3days/week,walking ? 60 mins/week: OR=0.26 95% CI=0.08-0.79,1-3 days/week,walking?150 mins/week: OR=0.19 95% CI=0.06-0.67,?4 days/week,walking?60 mins/week: OR=0.27 95% CI=0.09-0.80,?4 days/week,walking?150 mins/week:OR=0.31 95% CI=0.10-0.99)and participants who went out by cycling more than once per week was negatively associated with sufficiently physical activity(OR=3.8395%CI=1.67-8.81),and there was a positive correlation with the frequency of cycling between 1 and 3 times per week(OR = 3.83 95% CI = 1.67-8.81).6.The LTW of the elderly are associated with walking infrastructure, land mix-used and safety. The walking infrastructure level with the residential area surrounding for each rise,LTW of the elderly level change the estimated coefficient of ? = 2.120,P = 0.004 and ?=2.468,P = 0.001.The land mix-used,safety with the residential area surrounding between the second and third levels are ?= 1.501,P = 0.009,?= 1.645,P = 0.008,respectively.Other built environment elements did not find a significant correlation with the LTW of the elderly.7.The LTPA of the elderly is associated with street connectivity, walking infrastructure, safety, residential density, land mix-used,availability and traffic conditions. The street connectivity, walking infrastructure and safety level with the residential area surrounding for each rise,LTPA of the elderly level change the estimated coefficient of ?= 1.489,P = 0.009 and ?= 1.595,P = 0.006,?=1.370,P=0.011 and ?=1.992,P = 0.022,?= 1.347,P = 0.001 and ?= 1.620,P = 0.003.The residential density, land mix-used,availability,traffic conditions with the residential area surrounding between the second and third levels are ? =1.561,P=0.006,?=1.145,P=0.017,?=1.319,P=0.003,?=1.497,P=0.002,respectively.Other built environment elements did not find a significant correlation with the LTPA of the elderly.Conclusion:(1)Part of social demographic variables have positive effect in promoting LTW and LTPA of the elderly, education level, health status, income level is conducive to promoting the promotion of the elderly LTW;health status, income level is conducive to to promote the leisure of the elderly LTPA.(2)Travel in the way of riding on the elderly LTW and LTPA have a positive impact, riding helps to improve the elderly LTPA and not conducive to improving the LTW.(3)The residential area surrounding with the elderly environment characteristics of the land in the land mix-used,walking infrastructure, safety is conducive to improving the elderly LTW,residential density, land mix-use,accessibility,street connectivity, safety, walking infrastructure, traffic conditions conducive to improving the elderly LTPA.
