Learning motivations are composed of a complex system consisting of internal and external causes,including the interest in learning,learning needs,self-efficacy and family factors,school environment,learning have a significant impact on high school students.In recent years,with the implementation of the geography new curriculum reform,great changes have taken place in the middle school geography teaching,teaching idea,attach importance to students' learning interest and learning needs;The teaching method,by using the diverse teaching method,classroom with students as the main body;On the teaching evaluation,pay attention to cultivate the students' learning ability,focus on process rather than the result.Visible,reflected the geography new curriculum reform focus on high school geography learning motivation.However,due to poor infrastructure in rural areas in China,the teaching idea obsolete,the teachers strength weak wait for a reason,the geography new curriculum reform work,there also exist quite a few problems of the rural middle school students in geography learning.This paper intends to study the following three aspects:first of all,literature study,the related literature search and reading a lot of learning motivation,and combining the current status of rural high school geography education,geography learning motivation factors which affect,cognition,interest,self-efficacy,teacher's teaching,family factors,school environment;And then study,according to the geography learning motivation factor six dimensions design of the questionnaire,in Guangxi Qinzhou sampling investigation within the scope of the school,and then statistical analysis of the results of the survey;Finally,summarized the characteristics of rural high school geography learning motivation and its existing problems,and optimization are put forward based on the specific problems of the rural high school geography teaching mode.Reference for learning motivation scale,this study compiled the geography learning motivation questionnaire for middle school students,mainly from the cognition,interest,self-efficacy,teachers teaching,family factors,school environment,six aspects of urban and rural middle school students were investigated.And selecting the teachers and students in investigation,interview,and,finally,has carried on the statistical analysis,the result of the survey and the interview to the following conclusion:1.Rural middle school students' interest on geographical study is insufficient,low self-efficacy.Rural middle school students' geographical study interest is insufficient,low self-efficacy.And urban students,with no network media,such as rural middle school students' field of vision is narrow,not enough knowledge of geographic extracurricular.Therefore,the teacher should guide the student to the geography study results are correct attribution,help them to build confidence and improve the self-efficacy.2.Teachers' teaching idea in rural middle school is backward,teaching method is single.Infrastructure,rural middle school teachers' teaching idea,teaching method is single,the serious influence student's geography study enthusiasm.So,in the geography teaching,the teacher wants to shape the charm,adopt flexible and varied teaching methods,multimedia teaching,interesting teaching,inquiry teaching,etc.)to attract students' interest,improve students' study enthusiasm.3.The educational background of rural middle school students' parents is generally low.The rural middle school students' parents level of education is generally low,according to the survey 80%of the rural middle school students parents only accepted the education of primary and secondary schools,received only 20%of higher education.Parents and children of geographic study less communication,leading to poor rural middle school students' geographical study result.In order to develop geographic literacy,parents can take children out of the classroom,learning to life of geography.Parents can use year holiday travel with your child,growth experience,widen our sight and develop geographical study interest and confidence.4.Rural schools are lack of-teachers in geography teaching.Rural schools lack of teachers,rural middle school doesn't even have a geography teacher,geography teaching by the major part-time teachers,visible,of geography teaching in rural middle school seriously enough,which affects the student's geography learning.So,schools should strengthen the construction of teachers team,build good geographical culture atmosphere.5.Aimed at the problems existing in the rural middle school students in geography learning motivation,I put forward the following Suggestions:At first,students should set up the learning confidence and enhance self-efficacy.Secondly,teachers should adopt flexible and varied teaching methods,to attract students' interest and improve students' study enthusiasm.Moreover,parents should take the kids out of the classroom,to learn geography in the life.At last,Schools and society should build good geographical culture atmosphere.
