A Case Study On The Judicial Assistance Of Juvenile Delinquency Involved In Social Work

In recent years,with the development of China's economy,the change of society,people's material life becomes quite rich.At the same time,there appeared a lot of social problems of juvenile delinquency,which has seriously affected the progress of our social civilization.China is actively revising new laws and regulations to improve our country's judicial system,meanwhile,we also need a new method using social work to intervene and educate juvenile delinquency in China.First of all,through the study of the social support network,juvenile criminal prosecution and the related literature,I selected prosecutor,called "C",in a district of Huangshi City to carry out the work of education as a case study.In this thesis,I take interviewing method to interview the typical case,investigate his background information and causes of crime,founding that the reason of juvenile delinquency is mainly because of lower cognition and behavior control ability,uncompleted family structure,the adverse effects of peer groups,imbalanced school education and community managements' lackness.Secondly,this study uses personal social support network,the process of social work practice from the perspective of network of self-help groups,organizations,community network contact,community network these four intervention strategies to assist clients,several friends,school and community,dig into their own resources,build social support network and assess the effect of the specific implementation process.Finally,under the guidance of the social support network,the research explore social support for juvenile delinquency and personal support resources from multiple levels,verify the feasibility and advantage of social work on juvenile justice and the process,assisting the prosecution to provide new judicial mode of education for juveniles,helping juveniles to correct their bad behaviors,increase the social support,make it out of the shadow of crime as soon as possible in the social network system,promote the healthy growth and return to society.
