Modern Wushu Sanda as a polit project has gone through 40 years since 1979.After several generations of martial arts’ efforts,Wushu Sanda has formed its own independent training system,competition system and management system.And continually exploring how to make it more commercial and market-oriented.Under strong support from national sports policy,the growing spiritual need of people,and the rapid development of sports industry.The market potential of sports competition is constantly expanding.Even though Wushu Sanda tournament plays an important role to promote Wushu culture and the sustainable development,its commercial development is still in its infancy.Therefore,the main point of this study is combine the actual situation with the opportunity of Chinese Wushu Sanda competition,to find out the main factors restricting the commercial development of Wushu Sanda tournament.The research methods used in this paper are: literature,questionnaire survey,interview,field investigation,case analysis,mathematical statistics,comparative analysis.This article combs the history of Chinese Wushu Sanda tournament,and analyzes the basic situation of Wushu Sanda competition from the aspects of commercial sponsorship,development of television rights,ticket proceeds,development of derivatives,promotion of packaging,advertisement and media propaganda,in order to find out the main factors restricting the commercial development of Wushu Sanda competition.On the basis of the above,this paper puts forward some countermeasures for the commercial development of Wushu Sanda tournament.The conclusions are as follows:1.The number of events increased year by year,the scale has expanded year by year,but the frequency of economic development regional competition is not high.2.Imperfect management system caused by athletes restricted entry.3.The income of the event is not obvious,the cooperation with the sponsor is not close,derivatives are yet to be developed.4.On event publicity and promotion package is insufficient,and propagandamethods is obsolete,can not advance with the times.According to the research proposed the main countermeasures are as follows:1.Strengthen the cooperation between Wushu Sanda and the media,pay attention to the role of Internet communication.2.Perfect the industry chain of Wushu Sanda,and realize diversified development of profit mode.3.Paying attention to the connection function of sports intermediary and cultivating sports intermediary talents.4.Founded Sanda tournament league,completed Martial Arts Vocational Construction.5.Improved the rules of the game to enhance the game viewing6.Strengthen the system reform,establish and perfect Wushu Sanda restraint mechanism.
