At present,under the background of a substantial reduction of China's rural school-age population,boarding school,as a kind of school-running pattern,becomes the inevitable choice to integrate the rural educational resources and the breakthrough point to narrow the education gap in a region.Developing rapidly,now the boarding school in rural areas is faced with many problems such as security issues,nutrition problems,hygienic problems and Psychological problems.In this paper,on the basis of humanistic management theory,we took X Middle School,which is located in Duchang County in Jiangxi Province,as a case,to find out the problems and needs in the students` eyes through empirical research on the boarders satisfaction and its influencing factors,and finally put forward the specific suggestions.This paper is divided into five parts to discuss:The first part is an introduction,mainly elaborated the question origin,research objectives and significance of this paper,and also introduced the research status on rural boarding school,defined the related concepts,besides,the research design and method of this article is determined.The second part is the related theories,mainly introduced the education management theories which support the value and purpose of this paper,namely the the humanistic management theories including hierarchy of needs theory and two-factor theory.At the same time,we introduced the previous research which support the possible factors affecting rural boarding students satisfaction in our current study.The third part is mainly about the questionnaire design for the measure of the rural boarding student satisfaction and test of the influencing factors,including the questionnaire design,the informal investigation,reliability and validity test,modification of the questionnaire,the formal investigation and repeated testing,etc..The fourth part is mainly about the empirical analysis,with data processing software SPSS19.0 to analyze the questionnaire data,including the analysis of the general characteristics of the students satisfaction and analysis of its influencing factors,the results shows that the most important two influencing factors of rural junior school students` boarding satisfaction are "material condition" and "humanistic environment".The fifth part is mainly the discussion on the influence factors and “Noninfluence factors”of students satisfaction in rural junior boarding school according to the results of data analysis,based on the related humanism management theories,and at last,we proposed a series of practical suggestions on the improvement of the management of boarding schools in rural areas.
