In recent decade,China has paid close attention not only to educational informatization in educational program,but information literacy of students.The development of E-schoolbag is in line with the growing trend of educational informatization.In teaching,we should put people first,push forward the deep integration of information technology and teaching,bring forth new ideas in educational concepts and patterns,and strengthen research and development in information education so as to offer diversified learning choices for students.The emergence of E-schoolbag provides a pretty good platform for us to bring information technology into the teaching of English reading,which realizes the combination of independent study before class,interactive study in class and self-study after class.This fundamentally changes both teachers' teaching and students' learning as in flipped class,independent study and individualization.E-schoolbag makes up for the deficiency of the traditional English reading teaching and paper books.The application of E-schoolbag information technology established an "architect-machine-student" interactive learning mode,thus achieving students' independent learning and classroom flipping.As English teachers in Senior High School,we should follow the laws of things' development,conform to the trend of historical development,face educational reform actively,and push forward the innovation of educational informatization.This thesis is based on the investigation and analysis of the current English reading teaching and learning in some Senior High Schools in Qingdao,Shandong Province.Senior High School teachers attach importance to reading teaching,but within the constraint of traditional teaching concepts and examination-oriented education system,students' reading ability remains at a low level.For teaching,extensive reading is always confused with intensive reading,regardless of various levels of importance of different kinds of reading.What's more,students have no access to teachers' systematic direction after class.In this context,this thesis gives suggestions on how to improve the quality of English reading teaching.The principles of classroom English reading teaching in Senior High Schoolunder the circumstances of the E-schoolbag are put forward according to the investigated conclusions with a mixture of the practical teaching reality.They are,namely,the principles of subjectivity,progression,cooperation,effectiveness,and innovation.These principles will motivate independent learning and foster subjective initiative.The interaction between teachers and students will also be strengthened to improve both the depth and width of reading interests.With vivid teaching instances,this thesis explores the application process of E-schoolbag and showcases how to apply the E-schoolbag effectively in classroom teaching in senior high.
