| The new curriculum reform requires the chemistry teaching in junior high school should be based on the students’ life experience as well as their knowledge.It should stimulate students’ interest in learning,attach importance to the construction of students’ knowledge system,pay attention to students’ learning methods and cultivate students’ thinking ability.Mind map is a specific way of thinking.It is the process of showing abstract thinking in concrete diagrams.The application of mind map in teaching can help students sort out the relationships between knowledge in a wide range of knowledge points as well as further construct knowledge network.In this way,students’ knowledge can not only be consolidated,their levels of thinking ability can also be improved.Unit 9(the metal)in grade nine chemistry textbook of Shandong Education Teaching material includes three chapters which have rich content and trivial knowledge points.So it is difficult for students to master.At the same time,the teaching content is closely related to production and life.It embodies the connection of science,technology,society and environment.So this unit is very representative.This study searches the research status of mind map and instructional design of “metal” at home and abroad.This paper analyzes and studies the instructional design of "metal".And with the help of Free Mind,the teaching strategy of mind mapping is constructed in the new,review or exercise classes.The practical teaching shows that mind map helps to serialize and systematize the trivial knowledge.It can effectively help students build knowledge system,reduce the difficulty of students’ memory and comprehension,and improve students learning efficiency.Therefore,the application of mind map in junior high school chemistry teaching is worth application and promotion. |
