Objective:To understand the nutritional status of left-behind children aged 7?14 years in rural Yongzhou City,and to explore the relevant influencing facto rs of nutritional status of left-behind children in rural areas,so as to provide ref erence for improving the nutritional status of left-behind children in rural areas.Methods:Using a stratified cluster random sampling method,students from a rural school in Yongzhou were selected for height and weight testing.A total of 2,645 valid samples were investigated in this survey,including 1,288 left-behi nd children and 1,357 non-left-behind children.In addition,some students were r andomly selected from the left-behind children who participated in the height and weight tests to conduct a questionnaire survey.Unconditional Logistic Regression was used to analyze the possible related factors affecting the nutritional status of left-behind children.Results:(1)The nutritional problems of left-behind children in rural areas in Yongzhou are outstanding and the situation is not optimistic.The incidence of growth retardation and wasting is relatively high.(2)The distribution of nutritiona 1 status of left-behind children in rural areas in Yongzhou has differences in gen der and age.The incidence of overweight children in left-behind children is high er than that in girls;the incidence of growth retardation increases with age.The nutritional status of left-behind children changed dynamically with increasing age.The high age of boys' growth retardation was 12 years old and 14 years old,the high age of wasting was 10 years old,12 years old and 14 years old;the gro wth delays of girls were 12 years old and 13 years old.Years old,the high age of weight loss is 11 and 12 years old.(3)Factors affecting malnutrition of left-behind children:relative monthly income per capita is less than 500 yuan,moth er education elementary school,never eat breakfast,Soy milk and milk are not o ften consumed for breakfast,per capita monthly income is 1,500 yuan or more,mother's education is college and college or higher,breakfast rarely eat or eat or eat every day,breakfast often drink Soy milk and milk left children malnutrit ion risk is low,the OR value of 0.506,0.615,0.608,0.475,0.420,0.021,P value all less than 0.05;relative to age The segment is aged 7?9 years,and the risk of malnutrition of left-behind children aged 13?14 years is high,with an OR of 2.129.P value less than 0.05.(4)Factors affecting excess nutrition of left-behind c hildren:Compared with boys,extra-curriculum physical exercise is not active,an d favorite snacks are spicy,girls,and extra-curricular physical exercises are activ e,and favorite snacks are not the risk of excessive nutrition of left-behind childr en with spicy food.Low,OR values were 0.179,0.484,0.434,P value all less t han 0.05.Conclusions and recommendations:The overall situation of nutritional statu s of left-behind children in rural areas in Yongzhou is not optimistic.The manif estations of nutrition problems are mainly weight-loss.The incidence of overweig ht and obesity is much lower than growth retardation and weight loss,but this p henomenon still exists.He also found that the nutritional status of left-behind chi ldren is influenced by many factors.It is suggested that the government and soci ety's functions can be fully utilized to actively guide parents to pay attention to family education,ensure the systematic and standardized school nutrition and hea 1th education,cultivate good physical exercise habits,and increase nutrition and health.Educational propaganda and so on.
