Folktale as the product of Chinese culture is written by by the people of oral creation, and spread among the broad masses of the people, mainly reflects the people's labor production, daily life and thoughts and feelings, to express their aesthetic ideas and artistic appeal. Folktale as a classification of literary works, with distinctive national features and local features, has a certain ideological, instructive and entertaining.Therefore, the contents of folktale as kindergarten education activities is beneficial to spread traditional culture and foster fine quality and morality, and it has positive significance on children's physical and mental aspects development. Facing a tidal wave of multiculturalism, folktale is the impact of foreign culture, presents a weakening trend.This paper attempts to proceed from the theoretical and practical point of view,pursue the cause of the folktales in kindergarten activities gradually neglected.And to find a solution to the status quo,expectations of providing practical ways and means to the majority of preschool workers ,to play the folktale in kindergarten education activities in the value.This study takes an exemplary kindergarten as an example,through the kindergarten teachers and related personnel to conduct a questionnaire survey, an initial understanding of the folktales in the kindergarten in the use of the actual situation,while using participatory observation to observe and analyze the educational activities related to folk tales.Combined with the problems and difficulties for the folktale in kindergarten education activities to provide advice.The study consists of four parts.The first part will explain the reason of the topic selection, and define the relevant concepts. And through the literature on the relevant research to sort out, determine the research ideas and methods of this study on this basis,which will lay the foundation for the follow-up study.The second part mainly elaborates the possibility and necessity of the folktales used in kindergarten educational activities, and explores the meaning and value of the folk tales for the development of children's physical and mental development from the perspective of sociology, psychology, pedagogy and culture. Folktales are part of the kindergarten educational activities that can not be replaced.In the third part, through the analysis of the questionnaire and the results of the interview, combined with the describes of the folktales in the use of the description in the existing kindergarten educational activities, find out the difficulties and causes of the folktales in the existing kindergarten educational activities.In the fourth part, the author puts forward the feasible suggestions and countermeasures from the aspects of kindergarten teachers, kindergartens, family and social.
