Theme map is an important part of the content of the textbook when students are studying in the primary school.It not only vividly contains the basic mathematical knowledge they have to learn,but also allows students to contact abstract mathematical content in close contact with real life.It meets the law of children and helps to improve children's interest in learning,and it is a good tool for teachers in the education process.But in reality,teachers not only have little understanding of the theme map,but also they don't delve into how to correctly play its value,which has no benefit to student.Therefore,the author classified of primary school mathematics teaching materials and did some case studies to further explore how to better use the theme in the teaching process and help teachers to improve the quality of teaching.On the one hand,this paper introduces the status quot,the research significance and the "four categories" and "three small categories" of the thematic map,so that more people can understand the theme map.On the other hand,the author used the experimental comparison in different ways for the same theme map for further analysis.The author also studied how to better use theme map to play its potential teaching value,so that children can learn the new knowledge better and improve their own efficiency to help teachers to teach effectively.And the author used the same theme map in different ways to evaluate the results of students.She also interviewed teachers on the usage of thematic maps in the classroom situation and analyze them,so as to make better use of the theme map and make reasonable suggestions for teachers and students.
