A Study On The Punishment Of Artistic Education In Junior Middle Schools

As the "student-oriented" idea progresses in greater depth,education also embraces constant reforms.During the reforms,educators pay more attention to the development of essential qualities,mental and physical health for children,which should be considered a good thing.At the same time,education punishment,as a traditional education method,is subject to criticisms among people.Despite the controversy caused by education punishment,it is still a heated issue in the education sector.Many scholars have discussed a lot on the connotation,the rationality,and methodological practices of education punishment.Middle school students are in the period of "psychological weaning".Their understanding of right and wrong,worldview and value are gradually established.The appreciative education alone cannot exert comprehensive,positive and effective influence on the students' moral and mental education.Effective education should combine appreciation and punishment together because both sides are indispensible.And yet,punishment requires skillful and artistic practices due to the psychological development of middle school students,social concerns and other reasons.Therefore,the author regards education punishment as a vital educational means in the middle school education.This paper thus touches upon the definition of education punishment,the status quo at home and abroad,and its necessity and rationality,in order to show that certain amount of education punishment in an appropriate and effective manner is needed in middle school education.In the final part,the author puts forward the strategies and specific methods in implementing education punishment by referring to both the theoretical bases and the author's firsthand objective and subjective experience.Through the discussion of the paper,the author hopes to establish a proper viewpoint in terms of education punishment so that education punishment can be used to better educate students in middle school.
