People regard food as their prime want.It expresses the importance of food for nation and individual.Nutrition is the foundation of study,work and other activities.College students are the relay of social development.Understand students' present situation and problems of nutritional knowledge,attitude,practice and dietary structure,can provide reference to improve college students' health.We carry out the questionnaire survey of 2000 students in national food and nutrition consultant committee's first food and nutrition education demonstration base-Jilin Agricultural Science and Technology University.Record the raw material's weight of each type of food,can ensure the reality and accuracy of this study.This paper mainly research on college students' nutritional knowledge,attitude and practice(KAP).Previous research focus on general consumption habits,but this paper detailed each time of food intake,thus take dietary structure into the scope of nutritional practice.This can increase the breadth and depth of KAP research,to provide more detailed data support for college students nutrition education.Research findings:(1)The overall accuracy of college students' nutritional knowledge was 60.6%.College Students' answers to qualitative nutritional knowledge was higher than quantitative nutritional knowledge.(2)Most students thought that nutritional knowledge is important(82%),but only 13.6% students often learn nutritional knowledge.The main way to get nutritional knowledge is network.(3)There are a lot of bad eating habits.Irregular eating and skipping breakfast are common in campus.Some students eat fast food instead of meals when busy.Intake frequency of fruit and milk is low.(4)College students eat 755.1 grams food a day,most of them are plant food(74%).The highest intake was cereal(307.6 g),followed by vegetables and meat(138 g and 94.1 g).Compared with recommendation,inadequate intake of vegetables,fruits,dairy products,aquatic products is serious.(5)The meat intake of boys was significantly higher than that of girls,and the fruit intake was significantly lower than that of girls.Urban students eat animal food more than rural students.There are grade differences in the intake of cereals,vegetables,meat,dairy product,soybeans.College Students' food choices are affected by economic factors,with the improvement of living expenses,the proportion of animal food intake gradually increased.There are no body size differences except meat.(6)With the improvement of the level of nutritional knowledge,inadequate intake of vegetables,fruits and aquatic products has improved significantly.Students with low awareness of nutritional knowledge have higher proportion of animal food intake than students with high awareness of nutritional knowledge.For problems like low level nutritional knowledge,bad dietary habits,unreasonable dietary structure,we should actively promote the nutritional knowledge,change the bad eating habits,improve the dietary structure,to improve the level of college students' nutrition and health.
