Introductory physics is a very important basic course for science students.However,most college students think that introductory physics is very difficult and even feel fearful of learning it,which makes it a great challenge to introductory physics teaching.Integrated the models,such as Just in Time Teaching,PI,flipped classroom,seminars teaching models and provide a student assistant for parts of the teams,seminar in introductory physics class based on clicker take full advantages of these teaching models so that it can improve teaching efficiency.In this paper,taking part of electromagnetics as example and through literature research observation,comparative analysis,and investigation,we discuss the implementation process and evaluation model of seminar in introductory physics class based on clicker,analyze the effectiveness of the teaching through analyzing learning state and learning achievement,and then discuss the influence of teaching assistants who participate in the seminar in class.At last,this paper analyzes the types and reasons of students' voting changes during class seminars,and analyzes the most commonly methods for students to persuade their peersThis thesis consists of five parts,the main contents of each part are as follows:The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the research background and research status of seminar in introductory physics class based on clicker,the purpose and methods of this research.The second part is the definition of the main concept and related theoretical basis of this study,including the definition of the concept of the seminar,the meaning of Scaffolding Instruction theory and Blended Learning theory.The third part mainly introduces the implementation mode of seminar in introductory physics class based on clicker,analyze the specific examples of three modes:instruction before the seminar in the new lessons,seminar before instruction the in the new lessons,and seminar exercise classesThe fourth part mainly analyzes the implementation effect of seminar in introductory physics class based on clicker.First,it analyzes the status of students' study,including the satisfaction,learning interest and the enthusiasm of thinking of students.And then,it analyzes the learning effects of students,including students' understanding of physics knowledge and students' performances.At last,it analyzes the four types and reason to the changes of vote during the process of seminar in class and the methods most commonly used to persuade peers during the seminar.The results indicate that:(1)Seminar in introductory physics class based on clicker can improve the satisfaction,learning interest and the enthusiasm of thinking of students.The participating of student-assistants in seminars reinforced these positive influences.(2)Seminar in introductory physics class based on clicker can deepen students' understanding of physical problems,improve students' achievement and reduce the dispersion of students'achievement.(3)The participating of teaching assistants in discussions is most suitable for student of B level.The fifth part summarizes the main conclusions,puts forward some reasonable suggestions for seminar in class based on clicker,and analyzes the deficiencies of this research.
