The ideological and political education in colleges and universities is related to the cultivation of what kind of students,how to train students and for whom to cultivate students,this is a fundamental problem.Ideological and political theory course is the main channel and foremost position of teaching ideological and political education for college students,class teaching is the most important form of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Therefore,the key to improve the teaching effect and quality of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities is to improve class teaching.Under the background of the popularization of higher education,how to use the limited educational resources to achieve higher quality education goal,and truly make the ideological and political course become a favorite course and beneficial to life for students,this more and more become a hot spot focusing on ideological and political educators.Based on the current situation of teachers and students in China,such as the ratio of teachers and students is too high,the educational resources are limited and other practical factors,large class teaching is still the most common and effective teaching form.However,the traditional "indoctrination" teaching method,too much emphasis on the dominant position of teachers,ignoring the student's status and training creativity,it is difficult to stimulate the enthusiasm of contemporary college students,resulting the function of ideological and political theory course also be affected."Lecture in large class and seminar in small class " teaching model,is the combination of teaching in large classes and discussing in small class,both based on practical considerations of the shortage of educational resources under the background of higher education,but also a positive response to the country policy arrangements to promote teaching in small class,comprehensively promoting of the quality higher education.At the same time,in the teaching process,paying attention to personality differences and play the subjectivity of students,cultivating sense of innovation,this is conducive to stimulate students' interest in ideological and political theory courses,so as to achieve higher quality of the ideological and political theory courses and to improve its teaching effect.
