As the main executors of training senior talents,college teachers play an important role in promoting the progress of science and technology and innovation in our country.The income for college teachers,it is not only the economic guarantee to maintain their basic life,but also represents the personal value and social status.As a kind of subjective feeling of college teachers for their compensation,income satisfaction has attracted more and more attention,and become an important standard to measure the management level of income in colleges.At present,the college teachers' income satisfaction is relatively low in Jiangxi.On the one hand,it is not conducive to the realization of a teacher's personal value,and affects the teachers' work enthusiasm and initiative;On the other hand,it is not beneficial to colleges to attract talents,which is also an important reason why the development of Jiangxi higher education is relatively backward.Therefore,it is very important to improve the income satisfaction of college teachers in Jiangxi,which contributes to a healthy development of Jiangxi higher education.The data on this study is collected from 5 colleges in Jiangxi by the random questionnaires for the income satisfaction of teachers.Analysis is performed with the single factor variance analysis,cross table analysis and multiple ordinal Logistic regression analysis by statistical software SPSS21.0.The results suggest that there are significantly differences in salary and welfare satisfaction among different age and professional title teachers.It was found that the professional title and teaching hours are significantly correlated with the non-economic income satisfaction of college teachers,and variables including professional title,teaching time,actual income,expected income,external equity,internal equity and individual equity have a significant effect on the overall income satisfaction.Among them,the individual equity is the most critical factor to affect the overall income satisfaction,followed by external equity,internal equity,professional title,actual income,expected income and teaching hours.Therefore,the study suggests that colleges should make efforts to improve the teachers' s salary and take non-economic income incentives into consideration,pay more attention to external equity,internal equity,and individual satisfaction.Moreover,colleges need to improve the working environment for teachers,provide work platform for participation opportunity,and make full use of spiritual motivation.According to the results of data analysis,under the guidance of Motivation Theory,Human Capital Theory and Performance Related Pay Theory,this paper puts forward the countermeasures to improve the income satisfaction of Jiangxi college teachers: value and improve overall salary;reform salary system;increase external equity and competitiveness;improve the performance appraisal mechanism;promote teachers' internal pay equity and individual equity;improve the young teachers' salary level;strengthen the humanistic care;increase the non economic salary;pay more attention to the construction of teachers' spirit.
