The basic task of the teaching of physics is not only to help the students to master fundamental physical knowledge,skill,and methods,but also to develop their physical thinking ability in order to promote their long-term development.It is not only the aim of teaching,more is the value of education,also is an important problem in front of every physics education worker.In the teaching of physics course,exercise teaching plays an very important role and has a practical value.Therefore,from the point of view of teaching exercises,the paper is aimed to explore how to develop students' physical thinking by using appropriate teaching methods.This paper starts from the following aspects:Firstly,it states the background and significance of the research,through the methods of literature review,the theory and research of the current domestic and foreign related theories are reviewed.On the basis of this,the paper discusses the teaching of exercises,the ability of physical thinking and related theories.Secondly,through the interview and questionnaire survey to teachers and students,the present situation of exercise class teaching and students' physical thinking ability were investigated.Thirdly,combining with the actual survey results,the paper puts forward the teaching mode of exercises based on the cultivation of students' physical thinking ability.And it is analyzed in detail from the following four aspects:the formation of thinking ability,the consolidation of thinking ability,the expansion of thinking ability and the assistant of thinking ability.Finally,through observation and interview,comparative testing and other research methods,the paper also explore the feasibility and practicality of develop students'physical thinking ability.And the comparative experiment was carried out in three aspects:pre-test,contrast experiment and post-test.After the experimental data were obtained,the comparison was made from the horizontal and vertical aspects.Through the research,it is found that improving the mode of physical exercises teaching can help the students to cultivate their physical thinking ability.It is hoped that the research of this subject will contribute to the advancement of quality education,the cultivation of students' ability and the improvement of physics teaching.
