Exercises teaching occupies a very important place in the teaching of high school physics, the validity ofexercises teaching will affect the consolidation of students’ knowledge, skills improvement and the cultivationof physical thinking ability directly. However, there are many shortcomings in the current exercises teachingstrategies, and students have many kinds of physical thinking-obstacles in the process of solving Physicsproblems, they restrict the effectiveness of exercises teaching seriously, and they influence the improvement ofstudents’ physical thinking ability. The research of this article is just based on these questions.Firstly, this study reviewed a large number of relevant documents, and analyzed the theories of exercisesteaching and physical thinking-obstacles. The basic concepts of the research related have been defined, and Ihave a more comprehensive understanding of the exercises teaching, the function of exercise teaching way, theexercise teaching strategy and on physical thinking disturbance theory, thought physical thinking-obstacleswere analyzed and illustrated.Then, Two sets of questionnaires about the current situation of physical exercise teaching in senior middleschool and high school students of physics thinking-obstacles situation have been draw up on the basis ofrelevant theory, and investigation and analysis have been done for the experimental class of teaching students.Survey results show that current exercises teaching ignores the main position of students, students rarelyinvolve in the process of physics problem solving, teachers’ teaching methods are not flexible, consciousness ofhelping students create a conscious physical models weakly, and so on. Most of the students findingthemselves have a variety of physical thinking-obstacles in the process of solving problems, and thesolidification of thinking disorder and partial of thinking disorder of students are relatively serious.Finally, The new teaching strategy have been draw up based on the findings of the questionnaire and thetheory of exercises teaching strategy, and appropriated teaching practices. Teaching practice has shown that the new exercises teaching strategies have a good effect, it improved the students’ interest in exercise classes,gradually enhanced the students’ awareness of issues, make the students to think and solve physical problemsforwardly, break physics thinking-obstacles consciously. But, in the implementation process of exercisesteaching strategy have encountered many problems, this indicated that the exercises teaching strategies need tobe further improvement.
