The teaching of high school physics exercises is an extremely effective way for students to strengthen the physical knowledge and laws they have learned and train their thinking.Critical thinking is hailed as one of the core competencies of the new era and plays an important guiding role in the problem-solving process. The six core skills of critical thinking are highly consistent with the basic abilities required by students in the problem-solving process. Therefore, this study takes critical thinking as the theoretical basis of high school physics problem teaching, and proposes a "double yolk egg model" to guide the teaching process of high school physics exercises,so as to combine the critical thinking theory and the teaching of high school physics exercises organically,to cultivate students' physical concept and scientific thinking. The "Double-Yellow Egg Model" mainly covers 4 teaching strategies under the guidance of critical thinking theory, which are: constructing a large frame of exercise teaching based on the characteristics of student groups and exercise characteristics;designing exercise teaching norms based on six core skills;based on key points of problems guides the problem-solving process;reinforces student physics concepts based on the problem-solving process. The author selects two classes in the first grade of Shanghai Fuxing Senior High School, and adopts the traditional teaching problem teaching(Class A)and the "double yolk egg model" guiding problem teaching(Class B).Using observation method, interview method, questionnaire survey, experimental research and other research methods, the performance data of students before, during and after class are collected.Data analysis is carried out from five dimensions, including classroom question answers, physics learning attitudes, students' test scores, physics exercises and CCTST tests, and after-school exercise performance.Data analysis found that there was no significant difference between classes A and B before teaching practice, but after 5 exercises, there were significant differences in physics learning attitude, critical thinking skills, and test scores between the two classes, and class B performed better than class A.The homework situation and the accuracy of students answering questions in class are also better than class A.During the practice of physics exercises, compared with class A,class B is more confident in the problem-solving process, more proactive in analyzing problems, and finding ways to solve problems. Therefore, the "double yolk egg model" proposed from the perspective of critical thinking can better improve students' problem-solving ability, and can also better cultivate students' physical concepts and scientific thinking.
