Reform Program for Basic Curricula gives a full interpretation of the teacher-student relationship,pointing out that teacher is the cooperator,instructor and participator of students in their study and that teaching is a process for the teacher and his students to have active interaction and collaborative growth.Under the background of new curriculum reform,the thesis,combining related theories and the author’s teaching practice,tries to explore students’ participation in ideological and political classes in rural senior high schools.Combining the actual teaching cases in rural high schools and related teaching theories,the thesis tries to analyze the current situation and influential factors of students’participation in ideological and political classes in rural senior high schools;measures to improve students’ participation and significance of the improvement are also discussed in the thesis.Research methods including questionnaire,interview and observation are used and data are collected and analyzed with the help of Internet.By analyzing the results of questionnaire form the perspectives of gender,grade and content of the questionnaire,listing the interviews in the form of table and analyzing these interviews,it can be concluded that students’ participation in ideological and political classes is on or below the medium level.The thesis elaborates the practical significance of improving students’participation in class from the aspects of students,teachers and their relationship.The author believes that improving students’ participation in class can promote students’overall development,improve teaching ability and teaching methods and build a new and harmonious relationship between teachers and students.Influential factors of students’participation in class are explained from the following three aspects:the improvement of teaching ability and teaching method,individual difference and teachers.Based on the theory of feedback teaching method,the author also puts forward practical measures that can improve students’ participation in class from the improvement of teaching method,teachers’ glamour and micro teaching environment three aspects.The author hopes that the research of the thesis can improve students’ participation in class,teachers’ teaching efficiency and students’ learning outcome in ideological and political class in rural senior high schools on the one hand,and promote the development of the ideological and political subject and students’ all-round development on the other hand.
