This thesis aims at studying the language use condition of the middle-school Ethnic Chinese Students of Eastern Language and Business Center Confucius Classroom in Yangon Myanmar.First of all,the author describe the basic condition of this Confucius classroom through field investigation,document literature,local newspaper,school records and other papers.According to the questionnaires survey,we know All of the students are bilinguals,some of them are even multilingual,they speak different languages when they are with different people or at different occasion,Chinese have the highest using-frequency,Burmese second,then is English and other languages.The majority of the students believe English is the most valuable and important language,Chinese follows,while Burmese and other languages are far below English and Chinese.Emotionally and intellectually they recognized the importance of Chinese.But in action,they are not study Chinese hard.The author offer some proposals according to the studying results which may promote the development of Chinese Language and Cultural Education in Yangon Myanmar.
