Social economic status(SES)has been the concern of the community since its establishment,and the variety of the family types resulting difference of the social economic status(SES).This difference will have an impact on all kinds of the individual's life,such as study,learning and other aspects.The study of learner motivation has always played an important role in the study of second language acquisition,which has always been the focus of attention of all researchers,and the theory of learning motivation is becoming more and more mature.Among them,the study of Chinese as a second language learning motivation has become more and more popular,however,as the influence of environmental factors in Chinese learning,the study of social economic status(SES)and students' motivation to learn Chinese is almost non-existent.Based on the basic theory of learning motivation and the basic theory of social economic status(SES),160 senior high school students from Royal High School of Thailand were selected as the subjects of this study.By means of questionnaires and interviews,the data of 160 high school students' personal information and family economic status were collected and the motivation of Chinese learning was investigated.After the questionnaires were collected,the data were analyzed by SPSS18.0.This study discussed the relationship between social economic status(SES)and Chinese learning motivation of high school students in Thailand;Through the correlation analysis,it tried to find out the relationship between the two according to the social stratification structure of the social economic status of high,medium and low stratification comparison,and the social economic status in different classes of students.In addition to the analysis of the overall situation,this study also analyzed the differences between individuals,so as to understand the social economic status of the individuals.Through the study we have found: 1.The Thailand high school students' social economic status,can influence their Chinese learning motivation.2.As for studentsof the social economic status from different classes,their Chinese learning motivation was different.3.The Thailand high school students' social economic status influenced the students' learning achievement by influencing their Chinese learning motivation.4.The influence of social economic status on students' Chinese learning motivation is different among students of different grades and specialties.This study has hopefully enriched the research content of Chinese learning motivation,broadened the research field of Chinese learning motivation.The relationship between social economic status and Chinese learning motivation is analyzed by SPSS18.0.The results show that the relationship between Thailand high school students' social economic status and Chinese learning motivation is correlated.
