A Study On Development And Utilization Of Folk Music Curriculum In Primary Schools Of Xuanwei Area In Yunnan Provence

With the implementation of the new curriculum reform of basic education in our country,the importance of curriculum resources has been gradually recognized,among which the development and utilization of curriculum resources is a more concentrated aspect.Although Xuanwei area is rich in Yunnan folk music and cultural resources,the folk music curriculum resources are not fully developed and utilized in the local primary schools.This paper discussed the strategies in how to develop and utilize the folk music resources in local music primary education in Xuanwei area on the basis of the existing research results and the actual situations the author has acquired.This thesis is divided into three parts.The first part includes the introduction,the reasons of the topic choice,the concepts of curriculum resources and their divisions,as well as music curriculum resources.The second part introduces the colorful Yunnan folk music resources and their features.The third part researches the development and utilization of the folk music curriculum in primary schools in Xuanwei area,as well as the conditions,principles,methods in local folk music resource development,the music forms that can be developed,the reasons why the local music resources are not fully utilized and the related suggestions.
