Curriculum Resources provide the major support for Curriculum Design and Implementation. Therefore, the new curriculum reform put forward how to develop and utilize curriculum resources. For primary school music teaching, elementary students need vivid, lively, intuitive and diversified teaching forms according to their physiological and psychological characteristics. Music curriculum resources need to make full use of a large number of diverse information, such as images,sound, dance, colours and so on, to affect the students’ senses in order to create harmonious teaching atmosphere, arouse their interests in learning music and improve their aesthetic ability. All above these request primary school music teachers not only carry out the institutional curriculum, but also develop and use a variety of curriculum resources according to circumstances, in order to promote the implementation of the new primary school music curriculum and realize curriculum goals. But at present there are a few of studies about the development and utilization of primary school music curriculum resources. And some researches have still some problems: first, teachers’ curriculum outlook is relatively narrow; second, the primary school music curriculum resources mainly concentrate on teaching materials and classroom resources, and fail to extra-curricular activities; third, it’s unobvious for pertinence and practicalness of the development of the primary school music curriculum resources. So it’s a highlight and difficulty for the new curriculum reform in China to how to effectively develop and make use of the primary school music curriculum resources.Under this background, this thesis attempts to do some in-depth monographic research on the above problems. At first, on the basis of literature research, this thesis cards, reviews, evaluates the recent studies about the development and utilization of music curriculum resources collecting from China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and it also puts forward some views, in order to get the clear understanding of the development and utilization of curriculum resources at home and abroad and do some comparative analysis among them. And through deduction and induction, the thesis defines the concept, content and theoretical basis of the development and utilization of the primary school music curriculum resources. Second, this thesis analyzes the status quo and problems of the development and utilization of music curriculum resources. Third, on the basis of theoretical research and empirical research, combined with several case analysis of the primary school music teaching materials of Jiangsu Province, this thsis comes up with some measures about how to effectively promote the development and utilization of the primary school music curriculum resources in China:(1) To develop and utilize the school music curriculum resources, including the development of teaching materials resources, campus culture resources and the students their own resources.(2) To develop and apply outside school music curriculum resources, including organizing music activities, promoting the students’ practical abilities, introducing pop music to class properly, closing the distance between life and textbook learning, and developing and applying local music.(3)To establish security system of the development of resources.(4) To use the experience of curriculum resources of other countries for reference...
