With the continuous expansion of college enrollment,the annual amounts of graduates increased sharply.In 2016,there is 7.65 million college graduates,the employment situation was severe,the competition was fierce.Employment problems of college students is not only relate to their future prospects,but also relate to the whole social stability.This thesis studies employment problems of college students in the persepctive of social capital theory from Bian Yanjie and mainly adopted methods of literature and questionnaire.First of all,it analyses current situation of social capital and employment of university students,then analyses the social capital influence on employment rate and employment quality of university students,finally puts forward countermeasure and suggestions on developing and using social capital.According to the source,College students' social capital can be divided into individual,family and university.In the light of investigation statistics,the individual capital quantity of undergraduate students is less and the quality is not high;the family capital quantity of undergraduate students is less and the quality is not high;the university capital quantity of undergraduate students is more and the rate of utilization is not high.Thus,the social capital of undergraduate students is not optimistic.College students' employment situation includes employment rate,employment whereabouts and employment quality.In the light of investigation of two normal universities in Sichuan,the employment rate of undergraduate students is low,the unemployment of undergraduate students is in preparation for examination on postgraduate,civil servants or institutions.Undergraduate students mainly work in private enterprise,education industry and grass-roots staff position,working place lies in all parts of Sichuan.The correlation of job and specialty is general,the job situation of competence is more competent,the job overall satisfaction is more satisfied,in general,the employment quality of college students is higher.The social capital has great impact on employment rates and quality of undergraduate students.Through the software analysis of excel and spss,more students utilize social capital in the process of employment,the social capital is associated with the overall satisfaction and job correlation with specialty.Students take advantage of social capital,employment quality is generally higher.In order to learn about in detail the method of utilizing social capital,the employment process,the job satisfaction and the individual ability,the thesis adopted in-depth interviews among 60 college students,then chooses three interviews as three cases and analyses them.Finally this thesis puts forward countermeasure and suggestions of utilizing social capital reasonably and developing social capital.Utilizing social capital reasonably must first create a fair employment environment,prevent excessive social capital;then enhance students' ability and utilizing social capital on the basis of individual ability.By means of joining the school organizations like the student union and student associations,taking part in training classes or all kinds of competitions and all kinds of social practice,students can develop individual capital.By means of strengthening the propaganda,enhancing the level of education,carrying out cooperation between universities and enterprises,carrying out cooperation among universities and colleges and make full use of alumni capital,students can develop university capital.Utilizing social capital can obtain effective employment information and increase employment opportunities,but college students also need individual ability.
