China’s higher education has entered the stage of popularization,and different social groups are no longer only satisfied with undergraduate degrees.The enthusiasm for graduate degrees has been increasing year by year,and postgraduate entrance examination has become a hot topic in society.College students,as high-quality talents,choose to take the postgraduate entrance examination,which can not only meet the needs of society for talents,but also improve their own development level and adapt to the needs of social development.The choice of college students to take the postgraduate entrance examination is influenced by various factors.Only by understanding their true thoughts can they provide more scientific guidance and improve the quality of national graduate education.Therefore,studying the influencing factors of college students’ postgraduate entrance examination is of great significance for improving the quality of graduate education and promoting the cultivation of high-quality talents.Taking undergraduate students from A and B universities in Kunming as the research subjects,a questionnaire survey and literature research method were used to study the influencing factors of college students’ postgraduate entrance examination.The research results showed that college students from A and B universities in Kunming have a strong willingness to take the postgraduate entrance examination and lack awareness of it.Both internal personal factors and external environmental factors have a significant impact on the postgraduate entrance examination of college students.Internal personal factors include college students’ interests,preferences,self challenges,motivation,etc.,while external environmental factors include factors such as society,family,and school.There are significant differences in gender,grade,place of origin,and attitudes towards postgraduate entrance examination among college students from A and B universities in Kunming;The relationship between internal personal factors and motivation for taking the postgraduate entrance examination is stronger,while social factors in external environmental factors have a stronger impact on the postgraduate entrance examination;After comparing internal personal factors with external environmental factors,the impact of internal personal factors on college students’ postgraduate entrance examination is more significant and plays a leading role in their choice of postgraduate entrance examination.Moreover,external environmental factors largely influence college students’ postgraduate entrance examination by influencing internal personal factors.Based on the survey of the current situation of postgraduate entrance examination for college students,this article analyzes the current situation and influencing factors of postgraduate entrance examination for college students in A and B universities.From the perspectives of individuals and society,families,and schools,the following suggestions are proposed to guide undergraduate students to take the postgraduate entrance examination: correcting the postgraduate entrance examination mechanism and improving their ability to take the postgraduate entrance examination;Improve government policies and employment services;Strengthen communication and reasonable suggestions for families;Improve the curriculum and talent development model. |
