At present it is focused on the integration between the information technology and curriculum in the ongoing curriculum reform in our fundamental education.Physics,as a basic science course in high school,links closely to the development of science and technology.The information technology application in high school physics teaching becomes a trend of physics education reform.It is clearly pointed out in the standard of physics curriculum that the combination of information technology and physics course is good both for students to study physics knowledge and techniques,and for students to gain the ability to collecting,processing and transferring information.Therefore,many physics teachers and education workers have been carrying out the constant exploration and practice in order to combine of information technology with physics teaching in high school.With the information technology application and expanding in the high school physics teaching,how to make the advanced modern information technology integrated with physics in high school,and how to make physics multi-media teaching come true have become the research focus in physics education teaching.Information technology develops rapidly.Modern information technology has been widely used in high school physics teaching.Such as a lot of information-based physics teaching tools play important role in the physics teaching course and set good example for the practical integration of information technology and in high school physics teaching.And video analysis technology(VAT)is one of them.Physics scholars and teachers,at home and abroad,have used VAT in their classes and studied the VAT application in physics teaching.They have solved the problems which are difficult for students to study physics by other teaching methods.Through VAT,the physics process visualization helps students to understand physics better.That is to say,VAT serves physics teaching and overcomes,to a certain extent,the shortcomings in high school.VAT has brought the new opportunity and breakthrough for the emergence of information technology and in high school physics teaching.Based on the information technology and curriculum integration,we introducedthe relative theoretical basis and concepts of VAT,and pointed out the basic principles that we must follow in teaching.According to physics course standard and high school physics textbook,some VAT problems and topics which are difficult to the traditional teaching have been summarized.VAT Tracker software tool was applied to the circular motion,horizontal cast movement,and collision experiments.Perceptual materials,physics experimental teaching examples and some practical operations about the software were provided to researchers,teachers,and students for reference.
