With the advent of global informationization, people’s learning, living and working space is becoming smaller and smaller. Micro-blog, micro film, We-chat App, We-chat business and micro video affect every aspect of people, making people’s life more colorful. In recent years, micro video, as a new teaching method is widely experimented in various subjects. But the micro video in information technology curriculum teaching is applied in elementary school recently. The application of micro video in the computer technology of drawing software has made a big step forward in elementary computer teaching.This study takes Xixin primary school of Hi-tech zone, Chengdu as an example through field observation and questionnaire survey. Combined with the characteristics of the primary school information technology teaching and the reality of students and teachers, the study analyzes the learning difficulties and teaching confusion in the learning and teaching of drawing software and explores the learning effect, learning interest, autonomy learning abilities, team cooperation ability, and the optimization of teachers’ teaching effect in micro video teaching. The author aims at improving and providing references for primary school information technology teaching effect in drawing software and other contents.The study is based on control method. The author set up a control class and an experimental class. In control class, the students are taught with the traditional teaching method. Meanwhile, the micro video teaching method is mainly applied in the experimental class. Before the study, a questionnaire of students’ interest in learning is conducted. After a semester, another questionnaire about interest in learning, independent learning ability is compared with the two classes and a test is carried out.The experiment results indicate that the teaching method based on micro video has obviously improved the students’ interest, independent learning ability and scores. With the comparison of the results before and after the experiment, the results indicate that the new method can solve the teaching confusion in traditional classroom better, which can obviously enhance teachers’ sense of accomplishment.
