The math curriculum standard clearly states that everyone needs to have good math education.However,due to the vast territory of China,the total population between the various regions is seriously uneven,and the cultural differences in regions and different economic development have affected the development of education around the region,leading to the level of basic education in regions vary widely.In particular,the quality of basic education in the coastal areas is significantly better than that in the western minority areas.And ethnic minorities in China has a very important position to improve the basic education level of ethnic minority areas to improve the quality of basic education in China has a very big impact.This study first summarizes the study of learning motivation and Yi mathematics education at home and abroad,and then takes X secondary school sophomore students as the research object.Through the questionnaire survey of students,the interview of teachers and students,This paper puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the learning ability of the high school students in Yi nationality by combining the questionnaire with the influencing factors of the mathematics learning ability of the high school students of the Yi nationality.The main conclusions are: First,the overall situation of Yi high school students in mathematics learning is not optimistic,between the general and good,in the middle level down.There are no significant differences in the overall situation of learning motivition among boys and girls and liberal arts students.There are significant differences in the learning motivation as a whole,and the level of learning ability of students in the class is the lowest.Second,there are significant differences in the learning attitude among high school students of different sexes,among which girls have higher scores,indicating that girls are better than boys.Third,liberal arts students,in the self-efficacy,external power have significant differences.Fourthly,teachers,the surrounding interpersonal relationship and learning environment will have an impact on the learning ability of Yi high school students.The teaching suggestions for improving the learning motivation of the high school students of Yi nationality are from the internal aspects: first,to enhance the students' willpower.Second,to cultivate students' interest in learning mathematics.Third,to pay attention to the student's attribution.Fourth,to cultivate students' self-efficacy beliefs;from the outside: first,to change the teaching philosophy,focusing on improving teaching effectiveness.Second,to strengthen the construction of style of study,and actively creating a learning atmosphere.Third,the harmonious relationship between teachers and students or students and students.Fourth,to play the characteristics of ethnic minorities,mining the Yi culture in the mathematical resources.
