In this paper the author investigated and analyzed the Chinese language learning strategies between Thai-Chinese and Non-Thai-Chinese senior high school students in northern Thailand based on the investigation of ethnic identity,language environment,language usage,Chinese learning experience,Chinese language learning motivation of them,and provided some suggestions on Chinese teaching of senior high school in northern Thailand.The author chose the senior high school students of three most representative public high schools as the respondents,received 314 questionnaires and relative materials by questionnaire and interview,and statistically analyzed them by EXCEL and SPSS.Through investigation and analysis,the author found that there are differences on language environment,language usage,Chinese learning experience,Chinese language learning motivation between Thai-Chinese and Non-Thai-Chinese senior high school students in northern Thailand;therefore there are differences on Chinese language learning strategies between them.The author described and analyzed in detail about the Chinese language learning strategy using condition between Thai-Chinese and Non-Thai-Chinese senior high school students in northern Thailand.According to the Chinese learning characteristics of them,the author provided some specific suggestions in order to carry out a targeted Chinese teaching solution for senior high school in northern Thailand.
