This paper aimed at48Sarah middle school students in Bangkok, Thailand, onuse of learning strategies in the process of learning Chinese. The method mainly arequestionnaire investigation and literature research, and statistical analysis of data iscomplementary. To comprehensive, credible, objective response Thailand middleschool students in Chinese learning, as well as various Chinese elements:pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, Chinese characters learning strategies applied,carries on the analysis and put forward the question, explain the causes of theproblems, and put forward feasible suggestions from the aspects of teachers’ teachingmethod.According to the Strategy taxonomy of Oxford R.L, the author will divide thestrategies that Sarah school students in the process of learning Chinese into twostrategies: direct strategy and indirect strategy. Direct strategy includes cognitivestrategies, memory strategies, compensation strategies; Indirect strategy: have nodirect contact with the language of strategy us, including the meta-cognitive strategy,social strategy and affective strategy. Using questionnaire survey, data statisticsresearch methods, survey the Bangkok, Thailand, Sarah middle school studentslearning Chinese at this stage of the selection and use of learning strategies.Thespss19.0statistical software is used to quantitative analysis of the results of thesurvey.This paper has five parts. The first part:thesis putting forward, this paperselected topic reason and the research purpose and meaning; The second part mainlyintroduced the research methods and research process, including the design of thequestionnaire, data collection and statistical analysis methods, the results of thesurvey and the classification of learning strategies. The third part is the main learningstrategies related concepts and terminology, as well as the definition and classification,and analyzed Bangkok Sarah middle school students’ learning strategy, showedSarah‘s currently teaching condition. The fourth part mainly based on the strategiesthat the Sarah middle school students currently learning, for a line of Chinese mandarin to improve teachers’ teaching method. The fifth part for the process ofinvestigation and the paper puts forward some problems and shortcomings, andproblems and methods for improvement.Thesis mainly shows the students in their own national culture background,school education system, which mainly adopted in the process of learning Chineselearning strategies, and use of learning strategies of students has carried on thepreliminary analysis. For example, they adopted in the process of learning of eachelement of direct strategies and indirect strategies. The obvious regularity of presentpart in high school. However, due to the school to the Chinese learning of junior highschool system in recent years and the adjustment of the learning process, obviouschanges have taken place in junior middle school students the results of the survey,and high school grade three showed similar results. So, teachers in the currentteaching situation, should adopt some specific teaching methods to better adapt to thecharacteristics of Thai students to help them at present situation to improve theefficiency of Chinese learning.This paper put forward the Chinese teachers, who go to Thailand, someimproving teaching methods and suggestions:1, for Chinese teachers to Thailand, theimportance and effect of using such methods: with students more cooperation in theprocess of teaching scene Settings, subject setting method and the method of the gamein Thailand classroom.2, as they often use mnemonics, the importance and effect ofusing such methods: more in the process of teaching the importance of the contact andcan be compared to the teaching method and effect.
