This paper contrast the "The Common High School Chinese Language Curriculum Standard(Experiment)" with the "Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts& Literacy in History/Social Studies,Science,and Technical Subjects".This paper analyzes the design concept and framework,the design content and the characteristics of the curriculum standards between the United States and China.The paper compares the common points and the differences from the curriculum standards.The paper is divided into two parts: the introduction and the text.The introduction mainly discusses the contents of the three parts.The first part summarizes the reasons for the selection.And the reasons of the discussion about the three aspects are as follows: Firstly,the curriculum standards play an important role in the teaching process.Secondly,there are many references about the United States education and teaching for China.Thirdly,because there are many similarities between American and Chinese curriculum standards,so we can learn from the American curriculum standards to enrich ours.Parts of the text from chapter I to Chapter VI:Chapter ?: It is the comparative study of the standard nature about the American and Chinese curriculum standards.This paper analyzes the similarities and differences between the American and Chinese language courses in terms of mother tongue education,student subjectivity and the nature of language.Chapter ?: It is the comparison and thinking of the standard design concept between the U.S.and China.To introduce the American and Chinese mother language standards design and the characteristics.We can learn from each other by comparing and analyzing the similarities and differences,Chapter ?: It is the comparison and thinking of the standard logical framework of the American and Chinese curriculum.By comparing and analyzing the standard curriculum design concept to get the differences and similarities about the macroscopic and microscopic aspects.Chapter ?: This paper will compare and analyze the curriculum standards between the United States and China about the reading part.Mainly about the design concept,content,the combination of reading and writing and other aspects.Chapter ?: For the writing part of the curriculum standards,this paper mainly devote to compare and analysis the design concept,the preparation of content and so on.Chapter ?: This paper compares and analyzes the listening and speaking design of the curriculum standards between two countries.Here,Chapter ?,Chapter ?,Chapter ? are the focus of this paper,This paper mainly analyzes and expounds the three aspects of American and Chinese high school language curriculum standards in reading,writing,listening and speaking communication.The reading standards,mainly analyzes and expounds the American and Chinese high school curriculum standard in reading part of the design concept and characteristics.And compared the same and different points in the curriculum teaching of reading purpose and content between two countries.The writing standard,mainly analyzes and expounds the similarities and differences between two countries in writing curriculum design.Then comparative analysis the writing teaching content from the aspects of writing purpose,writing attitude,writing topic and writing process perspective.The listening&speaking communication standard,mainly analyzes and expounds the similarities and differences between two countries' curriculum standards,to contrast communicators,communication process,communication and body angles,and based on comparing came to the corresponding reference conclusions.Through the analysis and elaboration of the above content,we can see that both American and Chinese standards of reading in high school pay attention to the students' understanding,experience and comprehension of the text.Of course,there are also differences in the value orientation of reading,reading methods,reading thinking.Both American and Chinese high school curriculum standard writing part all pursue the writing knowledge and the ability enhancement;all pursue the writing and the life union;all pursue the student writing process integrity and the creativity.Of course,due to a variety of reasons,there are some differences in the main line ofwriting design,the development goals of writing,the writing unit layout and so on.Through the comparison between American and Chinese high school language curriculum standards,we can conclude that they are all the same as serving the students' development,serving the subject application,serving the unity of listening and speaking.At the same time,it also points out the differences in the pursuit of goals,focus on the point of view,training objectives.
