The United States is one of the most developed sports countries in the world,can achieve excellent results in all Kinds of sports competitions,can be said that it is a benchmark for sports in the modern era.As a powerful sports country in the world,mass sports is its strong social foundation,and school sports is the core factor for its development.It has been a history of more than 100 years for sports to become a course in American primary and secondary schools.In recent years,sports in China have developed rapidly,mass sports and competitive sports have also developed in full swing,and school sports have been paid unprecedented attention.At the same time,the two countries attach great importance to school sports,and both countries take national curriculum standards as guidance documents to promote the development of school sports.In fact,the whole basic stage of education shows the shape of a Pyramid,the primary school is the foundation of the tower.And the curriculum is the core of the whole education.Therefore,every country has put the primary school curriculum reform in the first place.At the same time,the importance of the current society to sports is becoming more and more higher,and physical education occupies a more and more important position in the course system.So,the reform of primary school physical education curriculum is the most important part of the curriculum reform of the whole basic education.Based on the national curriculum standards of two countries,this paper compared 4 aspects of physical education curriculum in primary schools in China and the United States(teaching thought,instructional objectives,teaching content,teaching evaluation),and found similarities and differences between the two countries.1.In the aspect of teaching thought: In Chinese schools' sports,"health first" plays the leading role;In American schools' sports,it is the important position of "lifelong sports".2.On teaching objectives: the similarities,the two countries have conducted the construction of multilevel target system,the United States is the three level target system of a line,first from the whole set a large overall goal,then in accordance with the requirements of each period,at the end of each grade,a clear small goal is required;and China is led by the goal of the whole field,and the intersecting between the goal of learning and the goal of the level.In different ways,American curriculum aims closely around the main line of sports skills,whileChina is based on two main lines of sport and health.In different ways,curriculum goals in the United States closely around the main line of sports skills,while China is based on two main lines of sport and health.3.In the aspect of teaching contents: the similarities,both emphasize the importance of basic movements,set up the course content of three dimensions of physical,psychological and social.differences,the United States The United States emphasizes the teaching of basic sports skills,it emphasizes the ability to carry out physical activity,it is not divided by sports,it is a Kind of overall physical quality;and China emphasizes the teaching of basic sports technology,which is the basic ability of the project.4.In the aspect of teaching evaluation: similarities,the evaluation methods,the subject and the content of the two countries have diversified characteristics.Differences,on evaluation methods,the means of evaluation are relatively simple and subjective assessment is the main factor in China;it is carried out in a variety of ways,and many evaluation scales are set up for teachers to choose in the United States.On the content of evaluation,the United States is more detailed than China,it covers many aspects,such as dress,attitude,skill,health and so on.Finally,through comparison,some inspirations were obtained from the teaching objectives,content,and evaluation of the physical education curriculum in primary schools: In the teaching objectives of primary school physical education curriculum,when the goal is clearly defined,at the same time,the goal of sports skills can be more prominent;In terms of course teaching content,when strengthening the teaching of health,constructing the content of sports moral education,it is also necessary to improve basic sports skills teaching;in the teaching evaluation of primary school physical education curriculum,it is necessary to adopt process evaluation as the main method and summative evaluation as the supplement.In the meantime,elementary schoolchild sports files can be established to increase subjective evaluation content.
