Native language curriculum standard development both in China or the United States have their feature. In December2011, China released its latest mother tongue course curriculum standard, and the United States released it in June2010.The time, frame and the arrangement of the content have a certain similarity, At the same time, the two have their own characteristics and advantages.In this paper, by comparing the curriculum value orientation, framework, listening, speaking, reading and writing as well as the interdisciplinary study of targeted content (grade1,6) in the the common core state English standards and Chinese compulsory education Chinese course standard "(2011edition), we found that American pay more attention to profession, the process of the native language curriculum standards in the United States to pursue professional, positivism, specific and operability and interdisciplinary, we lay emphasis on cultural and instrumental unifies in Chinese curriculum, as Chinese languarge knowledge, process, emotional process of3D integration.In the comparison of the two, we can foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses:1. Pay attention to the values of the edification and infection.2. Combining with the characteristics of Chinese set goals. Then we should absorb the beneficial elements from American common core state English standards:1. The standards need more empirical supports.2. The definition of the term should be closely.3. Need to refine the goals of listening, speaking, reading and writing.4. Strengthening the goal of reading and writing.then make our native language curriculum standard more scientific.
