Analysis On The Population Quality Of Jilin Province And Its Influencing Factors

According to the slowdown of current China's overall economic growth,consumption,investment,import and export in the role of economic growth are getting weaker and weaker,the economic growth is seeking for new directions.“Supply-side reform”pointed out a new direction.In the population supply of“supply-side reform”,it's crucial to improve the quality of population.After the “13th Five-Year”,China entered an age of comprehensive two children.Full liberalization of the second child's birth is to raise the level of fertility,optimize the population structure,alleviate the aging of the population.Based on this,it will also promote the improvement in quality of population.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the quality of population and its influencing factors under the background of China's economy seeking for new growth points and the full liberalization of the two children.This paper constructs the evaluation index system of population quality including direct and indirect indicators,and establishes the evaluation model of population quality.This paper uses the factor analysis method to analyze the level of population quality and its influencing factors in Jilin Province from the aspects of educational factors,science and technology,health,social security factors and economic factors.For Jilin Province,to improve the quality of population should be mainly from educational factors,then followed by science and technology,health,social security factors and economic factors.Data envelopment analysis is used to study the efficiency of educational investment in improving the quality of population.According to the population quality level,various regions of Jilin Province are divided into three categories by cluster analysis,which named the high quality regions,the middle quality regions,and the low quality regions.And compare these three categories to analyze the characteristics of various regions.The main innovation of this paper is not only to establish the index system in quality of population which includes the "three elements" theory,but also add other factors to affect the quality of population,making a more comprehensive and objective index system.The conclusion of this paper can provide scientific basis and reference for the government to make policies of social development in Jilin Province.
