How to improve the attraction of ideological and political theory teaching is a long-termfacing important realistic problem in the construction of ideological and political theory course.Colleges and universities should insist on strengthening the ideological and political theory courses in the improvement,and enhance the teaching attraction and educational function of the ideological and political theory courses to meet the needs and expectations of the growth and development of college students.Taking the teaching attraction as the research object,on the basis of studying a large amount of literatures,this paper summarizes the concept,characteristics and functions of the teaching attraction of ideological and political theory courses,and combs and elaborates the elements,the theoretical and policy basis of the teaching attraction of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities.This paper chooses the undergraduates and instructors in some colleges and universities in Dalian as the object of investigation,and makes an empirical study on the teaching attraction of the course of “Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Legal Basis” and “An Introduction to The Basic Theory of Marxism”.Based on the statistical analysis of the results,this paper finds that the attraction of ideological and political theory teaching in colleges and universities is mainly manifested in the positive attitude of students' learning attitude,the positive evaluation of teachers,the content of teaching can advance with the times and the diversification of teaching methods;the lack of attraction in the teaching of ideological and political theory is mainly manifested in four negative aspects of the relatively low rate of rise head,some students are less satisfied with the teaching,some students lack of interest and some students' learning behavior are passive and utilitarian.This paper argues that the main reasons leading to the lack of attraction of ideological and political theory teaching in colleges and universities is that the main role of teachers is not enough,the teaching content does not fully meet the needs of students' development,the participation of teaching methods is not high,the resources of teaching environment are limited and the students' autonomous learning is not active enough.According to the above reasons,this paper pertinently pointed out four countermeasures to enhance the teaching attraction of the ideological and political theory course,these are to play the unity of teachers' leading role and students' subject function,to enhance the scientificity and practicality of teaching content,to integrate a variety of teaching methods to participate in the teaching process;to optimize the teaching environment andteaching atmosphere.Compared with other papers,the paper has two innovations.Firstly,it clearly puts forward the relationship between the teaching attraction and effectiveness of the ideological and political theory course.Secondly,it summarizes the positive and negative aspects of current situation of the teaching attraction of ideological and political theory course.
