| The core concept of the new curriculum is the emphasis on people-centered to pay attention to the development of every student.Appreciation education emphasizes educators to trust,respect,encourage,understand,tolerate,remind students,and the implementation of appreciation education is to better practice the concept of new curriculum reform.On the basis of a large number of literature,we find less that Appreciation education is currently lagging in the rural high school of which the education is backward and teaching facilities are not complete,Therefore,we take Yangjiawan Middle School of Bijie city as an example,applied Appreciation education to the high school biology teaching,which has a certain practical significance and value.Questionnaire to understand the status of Appreciation education of the high school,results show that 86% of the students think that teacher’s praise or affirmation can enhance their self-efficacy and improve learning achievement,however,only 23.1% of the students are often praised or encouraged by their teachers,and more than 55.2% of the students gained occasionally,and 21.7% of the students never gained.Based on the current situation Appreciation education and understanding fully the students,we connect the previous teaching experience with own teaching practice together to put forward these strategies:getting close to students is the key of Appreciation;concern about student’s changes in classroom;tolerant to treat students;humanized assignments;appreciation to be flexible degree;varieties of evaluation methods;make full use of time to appreciate students.We apply Appreciation education strategies to the teaching practice,and use the self-efficacy scale of physics to evaluate the effects,its results show the following facts:after the practice between the experimental class and the three contrast classes,there is no obvious difference in the students’ efficacy of Experimental Skills,there is significant of the efficacy of Scientific Inquiry,there are very significant in the remaining dimensions;before and after the practice,there are very significant in the remaining dimensions except the“the efficacy of experimental skills”in the experimental class,the three contrast classes are no obvious differences in the whole scale.these results indicate Appreciation education can improve students’ self-efficacy significantly.In addition,the score of the scale(divided by the number of items in the dimension)is 5,the highest score of the experiments is 3.592 in the scale of this practice,which indicates that students’ self-efficacy is room for improvement,Appreciation education needs long-term adherence.Based on the research results,we get these following conclusions:Pay attention to biological experiments and create opportunities to appreciate students’ experimental skills;Appreciation education need long-term adherence;Appreciation education can improve significantly students’ biological self-efficacy. |
