A Research On The Narrative Performance Of Motion Lens In Table Tennis And Badminton Events Of Rio Olympic Games

With its unique advantages,motion lens has become an important carrier of sports events.Especially,it plays an increasingly important role in the dissemination of mega sports events.It is of great practical significance to analyze the main performance and summarize the advantages and shortcomings of motion lens in the narrative process.Because of this,the narrative faction can be expressed better in the dissemination of mega sports events.Motion lens and its narrative content in the video of these events are selected to be the object of this research.With the analysis and the structure of four aspects of narrative perspective,narrative structure,narrative subject and narrative strategy,the using status of motion lens in the events video is analyzed in detailed.Combining with basic principles of narratology and the narrative theories of these related film theorists about the motion lens,this research studies the using times and the narrative content of typical motion lens.Through the research on the shooting skills and contents of motion lens,it reveals the narrative performance of motion lens in sports events.In this research,the main narrative performance of motion lens are considered as follows: In terms of narrative perspective,viewpoints,scenes and emotions are perfectly combined in the narrative process through the conversion of different scenes which are achieved by shifting the different various combinations of viewpoints through motion lens;In terms of narrative structure,motion lens in the narrative process possesses the coherence and non-coherence at the same time.The combination of the coherence and non-coherence makes motion lens more flexible in the narrative process,which makes sports events integrity;In terms of narrative subject,motion lens can show the image of the athletes.Elevation angle shooting can reflect the great image and exaggerate the bounce height of the athletes.Bow angle shooting can compress the characters as well as highlight the anxiety and cautiousness of the athletes.Positive shot is conducive to showing the frontal feature of the athletes and highlight the original appearance of the characters.Side shot is beneficial to perform the direction and dynamics of the athletes.Back shot gives people a positive association and provides the audience with an immersive imagination.In terms of narrative strategy,motion lens promotes the game by manufacturing secondary contradictions.Additionally,the climax of the game is highlighted by the manufacture of the major conditions.Motion lens perfectly shows an interlocking and brilliant game through the combination of major contradictions and secondary contradictions.Furthermore,four advantages and five shortcomings of motion lens in narrating sports events has been obtained in the research.It comes to the conclusions: As a means,motion lens has played an increasingly important role in the dissemination of mega sports events.The fusion of coherence and non-coherence better makes sports events more integrity.In the dissemination of mega sports events,motion lens achieves the ascension in ratings and also enhancesthe sense of national identity by shaping the image of the athletes.Motion lens in the games is more conducive to showing the conflicts.Motion lens has an unique advantage when it is narrating in the dissemination of large-scale sports events.However,there are still some shortcomings for motion lens in the narrative process.In connection with the conclusions,motion lens has some shortcomings in the narrative process.Therefore,some corresponding countermeasures and recommendations are considered as follows: First,different angles should be adopted to capture different ways in offensive accurately.Second,different scenes should be taken to capture the switching between the ways in offensive and defensive of different positions accurately.Third,it is suggested that motion lens should record the games completely with the accurate lens switching.Fourth,it is considered that motion lens should freeze the screen accurately and keep the key pictures in a high quality.Fifth,it is proposed that motion lens should adjust the length and the scenes timely according to the rhythm changing in the games.Sixth,it would be best to reduce the use of depression angle lens,but describe the games with both depression angle lens and elevation angle lens.Last,the subjective emotion may cause unreal and imbalance narration in the games,it is necessary to avoid this intervention.
