Nowadays the demand that enterprises have on technical talents' professional quality is not only in technology,but also focuses on something more comprehensive such as professional ideal,professional psychology,professional consciousness and professional abilities.Therefore,in technical schools the education in students' professional quality is facing a new challenge.Based on the enterprises and students' joint demand for sustainable development,to improve the system of professional quality cultivation meets the society's needs to foster high-quality talents,applied talents and high-skilled talents.Compared with the traditional personnel training mode,work-integrated learning is more subjective,professional and practical,making the education in students' professional quality targeted and effective.The paper is centered on the essence of professional quality,in which I do research on how to cultivate the five-year students' professional quality with the application of work-integrated learning.The paper uses the qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to solve the above problem.After referring to some relevant documents,self-made questionnaire applied in investigating the students' professional quality is of high reliability and validity.The fourth-grade students of the school are chosen as the object of the research.258 students of the same grade are asked to answer the questionnaire.Based on the results of the questionnaire and the interview with the tutors from relevant enterprises as well as teachers from our school,I have drawn the following conclusion:Most of the technical school students are those who fail in the High School Entrance Exam,of whom some are considered as special students in junior middle school.After entering the technical school,they do not understand what they will learn very well.They pay little attention to improving their professional quality.Worse still,they lack rational thinking about their career plans.Having spent three years learning their majors,what they think about professional quality is still on the stage of knowledge-based and skill-based,which means they put emphasis on improving their knowledge and skills instead of cultivating other qualities.The research shows that the students studied have improved their professional quality after carrying out the mode of work-integrated learning.How much the students have improved their professional quality has something to do with how many times the students have practiced work-integrated learning.Based on the above conclusion,there are several suggestions on how to cultivate the professional quality of technical schools' five-year students with the application of the workintegrated learning: Strengthening the teaching and reform of industrial integration;Improve the level of education theory of corporate mentors;Timely focus on and guide students' psychological changes;To improve the training mechanism of personnel;Develop a multi-party evaluation plan.
