Empirical Study On The Current Situation Of Social Work In Tianjin

Social work is based on the value of "people-oriented" and "self-help",which integrate social resources,coordinate social relations,prevent social problems and promote the harmonious development of social stability in the field of social services and social management.In the process of transformation of China’s current social,economic and social development improve people’s living standards greatly,but the distribution of income between people is not reasonable,which lead to different the conflicts and contradictions caused by psychological stress between different classes and people in life and work.However,social work is able to alleviate these contradictions and pressure.In fact,social work has become a part of the social welfare system,how to play the professional function of social work in the process of social governance transformation requires the professional development of social work.Social work occupation can prevent problems,find and solve problems in the social life,it can also alleviate the social constraints which can’t be solved even some contradictions with law and morality,it not only provide an important force for social harmony,but also can improve the related people’s well-being,improve the living conditions.The development of Tianjin social work mainly concentrated in the field of community,in recent years,it has begun to expand to the school,medical and business and other fields,but only the community social work reach the development of occupation,this paper uses qualitative and quantitative methods,research object is social work in Tianjin city community area,we can understand the current status the development of social status of the occupation of workstation six district social work of Tianjin City Post development status and the social situation through the questionnaire survey on each workstation occupation social workers and welfare benefits.the data were collected for quantitative analysis found that many of the problems in Tianjin at present,the social work occupation status problems mainly concentrated in the system,professional practice and social identity and Theoretical aspect.Occupation need for government guarantees in the system,practitioners professional quality and value cultivation,this study combined with their reading of the literature,Tianjin’ s special cultural beliefs,professional knowledge and the investigation of the status to analysis the causes of social work occupation predicament,and then explore and summarize the promotion measures of social work occupation for the city of Tianjin.
