The "Conspectus of Chinese Modern History" is an ideological and political theory course,which is based on historical education.The course property decided its teaching is the unity of the historical education and political education,and the purpose is to make college students in the study,summary and comprehension on the basis of historical facts to political knowledge,gain the ability to get a grip on reality and transforming the objective world,contains the contents of cultivating innovative consciousness.This paper takes the relationship as a breakthrough point,discuss the teaching on the cultivation of innovative consciousness,analysis the existing problems and reasons,and try to put forward the improvement measures.Research on this paper,firstly,make a deeper level of understanding and definition on " innovate "," innovation consciousness " on the basis of other professors and scholars.Combined with the characteristics of the "Conspectus of Chinese Modern History ",determines three dimensions of cultivating students' innovation consciousness preliminarily,which include " critical awareness of innovation "," responsibility consciousness of innovation "," the will of innovation".Secondly,,from the teaching objectives and teaching contents two aspects to analysis the necessity and feasibility of cultivating.Finally,make a questionnaire to survey the current situation that college students' innovative consciousness were cultivated by the course,and do a data analysis on the critical awareness of innovation,responsibility consciousness of innovation,the will of innovation separately.According to the results of data analysis,find problems in the process of cultivating,and analysis the cause of these problems further,including the teachers and students' perception of the course,teaching method,teaching material content,etc.In view of these problems and causes,and based on the course of Conspectus of Chinese Modern History,make attempts to put forward countermeasures which can strengthen students' innovation consciousness.
