ObjectiveTo understand the requirements and provide the suggestions on the organization form and the content of “Comprehensive Skill Training for the Aged Nursing” course;To construct the “Comprehensive Skill Training for the Aged Nursing” course by comprehensively using various research methods based on the relevant theories,including curriculum objectives,content and evaluation;To provide guidance and help for the further development of the comprehensive skills curriculum for the elderly nursing profession.Contents and Methods1.Extensive search and analysis of relevant documents home and abroad.Consult 11 experts about the needs and recommendations on the “Comprehensive Skill Training for the Aged Nursing” course to form the initial framework of the course.2.Guided by the principles of curriculum development and related theories,applying Delphi method to construct objectives and contents to form the curriculum of the “Comprehensive Skill Training for the Aged Nursing” course based on the previous qualitative research results3.Take the 2014 senior nursing students in Ningbo College of Health Sciences as the object of study.Verify the effectiveness of the course of “Comprehensive Skill Training for the Aged Nursing” by using comparative study.Results1.The interviews about the needs and construction of “Comprehensive Skills Training for the Aged Nursing”courseIt is necessary to set up the course of “Comprehensive Skills Training for the Aged Nursing”.The Course should cover basic life care,safety awareness and identification and treatment of safety,care for common geriatric diseases,rehabilitation nursing and organization and planning of activities.Teaching should be organized in the form of cases,and the methods and evaluation should be diversified.2.The application of Delphi to establish the objective and content of “Comprehensive Skills Training for the Aged Nursing”Based on Maslow's needs theory,Taylor model and Bloom's taxonomy of educational objectives,conduct two rounds consultation by using the Delphi method.The curriculum objectives include 3 indicators at first level,27 indicators at second level;The content of the course includes 3 indicators at first level,6 indexes about the second level and 36 indexes about the third level;Finally,form the curriculum of “Comprehensive Skills Training for the Aged Nursing”.3.The implementation and evaluation of “Comprehensive Skills Training for the Aged Nursing ”course(1)There was no statistical significance between two groups about general information(P?0.05);After intervene,there was statistical significance about the total score of core competence between the two groups(p< 0.05).Among the seven dimensions,the score difference about critical thinking and research ability,interpersonal relationship,personal professional development and education ability was statistical(p< 0.05);There was no statistically significant differences in the 3 dimensions of clinical nursing ability,leadership,ethics and ethical quality(p>0.05).(2)Course feedback evaluation: The scores such as "Professional closeness","the role and significance of the course" and other items were ranked top."Course non essential" reverse entries are sorted at the end.The results affirm the necessity of the course and the effectiveness of the content.Some students put forward some suggestions on the teaching hours and the provision of learning materials.ConclusionUnder the background of aging society,more requirements are put forward for the aged nursing personnel,and the ability training is most important in the cultivation nursing personnel.Setting up comprehensive training course is an effective way.Based on the relevant theories,this study constructs the course of “Comprehensive Skills Training for the Aged Nursing”,completes the course curriculum,and carries out teaching and demonstration according to the curriculum,puts forward relevant opinions and suggestions.It can provide reference for the teaching of integrated nursing skills training for the elderly.
