A Study On Family Integration Of Rural Remarried Women In Western Henan Province From The Perspective Of Family Social Work

With the development of economy and society,in China,the phenomenon of re-marriage is frequent in both urban and rural areas.And the media about stepmothers are reported sometimes.In the past,the research mainly focused on the relations between parents and children,the conflicts between mother-in-law and daughter-in law,as well as on the study of marriage life of widowed women.However,the researches on marriage life of divorced women in rural areas are few,and the practical studies with the application of social work to help the integration dilemma of the remarried female are fewer.Based on the view of family social work,the study found that the integration dilemma of the remarried female Ape ' s family was related not only to its own performance,but also to the passive change of other family members.To help remarried women better integrate into their family life,the researchers use structured family therapy to develop family services,namely,the use of family meetings,help family members understand their family issues,define family structures and family boundaries,promote communication between family members,ease the anxiety of family members,and improve family relationships.The results revealed that structural family therapy is effective to improve the family integration dilemma of remarried women.The research also provides practical experience sharing for the localization of family social work,further enriching and demonstrating the operability of structured family therapy in the process of family social work service.
