Study On The Application Of Structural Family Therapy Involving Youth Methamphetamine Abuse

Structural family therapy believes that individual problems are closely related to family structure.Analysis from the perspective of family structure and interaction patterns is easier to uncover the underlying reasons behind personal symptoms.Changing improper family structures and interaction patterns can help to completely eliminate personal symptoms of family members.Existing research and practice have shown that structured family therapy has considerable curative effect on youth problems such as eating disorders,school bullying,and family crisis.The research objective of this article is to explore the universality,effectiveness,and ways in which structured family therapy interventions for youth drug abuse are effective.In order to achieve the research goals,this research has set up two research parts based on the structured family therapy.Study one: Take 20 young people with methamphetamine abuse in Z city from April to May 2019 as the research object,set up 20 local young people without drug abuse as the control group,and conduct questionnaire surveys on "ice craving" and "family function scale",and analysis of data in various dimensions.Explore the common problems of family functions among youth with drug abuse and the correlation between "drug abuse" and "family functions".Study two: Take young W,a young drug abuser in Z city,as the research object for a 3-month structured family therapy to demonstrate the practical process of structured family therapy involved in the treatment of methamphetamine abuse,and compare the results of the scales before and after the intervention.,Explore the application effect of structural family therapy.The main conclusions of this article are as follows: First,family functioning failures are common among drug abuse youths in Z City,which is prominently manifested as family role disorders.There is a certain universality on interventions of Structured family therapy for drug abuse.Second,structural family therapy helps to restructure family structure,optimize family interaction methods,and improve family functions.Third,solving the problem of family structure is manifested as the effective way of structural family therapy to intervene in drug abuse.Structured family therapy focuses on solving the problems of “Alienation relationships” and “fuzzy boundaries”in the family structure of the study subjects,prompting them to gradually return to the family and get rid of the drug society.
