Reform of performance wage system of colleges and universities began in 2010 in China.After years of practice and exploration,the reform of performance wage system,is still the emphasis and difficulty in income distribution of colleges and universities.The effective implementation of the performance wage system in colleges and universities,has a positive effect on talent training,construction of teaching staff and the output of scientific research achievements.However,because of short period of the implementation of the performance wage system,the system itself and the implementation process reveal a lots of defacts and problems,causing discontent and objection from the staff,bringing greater resistance and slower process.Therefore,in order to successfully achieve the expected goals and effects of the reform of performance wage system in colleges and universities,we must solve the problems in the reform process one by one.The paper combs the reform process of the wage system in our country,and analyses the background,current situation and common problems of the reform of performance wage system in colleges and universities.Taking the case of Guizhou University as an example,through the questionnaire,we can understand the implementation of the performance wage system of Guizhou University,find out the main problems of the current performance wage system,then analyse the problems by using hierarchy of needs theory,two-factor theory,equity theory and expectation theory,and put forward suggestions for the reform.Hope the paper can provide beneficial reference for the reform of performance wage system of colleges and universities in China.
