Research On Creating Area Physical Environment For Children Aged Four To Five

Area physical environment is the premise of area activity,also it is an significant educational resources.The research utilizes observation method to survey area physical environment of classroom,from eight aspects reveal middle class current situation of area physical environment: area setting and dividing,furniture,wall space,pendent,children's work display,materials and toys,labels and logos,light and sound.In addition,the research use interview method to know deeply how teachers understand,prepare and adjust environment,which is the whole process of environment establishment.Also,case analysis was used for some typical classrooms circumstances for supplements.The study find that there are many inspiring and learning practices can be used for references,but some problems also existing.On the one hand,area physical environment have some drawbacks,including all asepects of area physical environment as stated above.On the other hand,teachers' ability of establish environment and their theoretical foundations should be improve.Aiming at analysis of status quo and problems discussion,the research tries to explore some operational suggestions to teachers and managers in kindergarten.
