A kindergarten is the main place for children in the daylight hours.A good environment of kindergarten has immeasurable impact on children’s harmonious development.The kindergarten should provide their children with living environment which is the most suitable for their development.Due to the influence of location and social culture,the rural areas are abundant in natural resources and human resources.Township kindergartens should fully develop and utilize the unique local resources,and construct the unique environment of kindergarten which is suitable for the local children’s development and can adapt to the education.However,the reality is not optimistic.During the field visits,the writer found that many of the kindergartens in the town have very simple facilities which is only decorated with some cartoon characters while we don’t take local resources which we possess into account and developed.The purpose of this study is to discover the prominent problems and find out the reasons,then propose possible suggestions through the investigation of current situation of the local resources’ development and utilization during the construction of environment of kindergartens in townships.This study investigated current situation of the local resources’ development and utilization during the construction of environment of kindergartens in townships through observation,questionnaire survey and interview,and discover teachers’ s attitude about establishment and utilization,operation,achievement in procession of construction of the township kindergartens.Through the investigation,the kindergartens and the teachers use less local resources and there are some problems such as the low utilization rate of the local resources,the low level of development and the poor effect of the creation during the creation of environment.One of the reasons is the lack of a correct concept of the kindergarten environment,the second reason is the lack of promotion for creation of local environment from kindergartens.From teachers’ prospective,on the one hand,the reason is teachers’ lack of correct concept of environmental creation and professional slack;on the other hand,teachers’ incapacity to create local environment is another reason.In view of the outstanding problems of the kindergartens and teachers during the creation of local environment,this study puts forward the following suggestions.In kindergartens side: first of all,to establish a scientific concept of the creation of environment;secondly,to emphasize the guiding role of the kindergartens in the creation of local environment;and finally,to enhance the management ability of the kindergartens during the creation of local environment.In the teachers side: firstly,to establish correct environment concept,improve the sense of responsibility and initiative;secondly,to set clear goals,to explore ideas of creations;thirdly,to make full use of local resources,to meet the various needs of the environment;fourthly,to the rational use of local resources,optimizing the overall environment;Fifthly,to respect the dominant role of children,improve the ability of guiding children’s participation;sixthly,to strengthen the reflection and improvement of creation of environment,and constantly improve their own creation ability.
