Transformative learning refers to the learning process that the cognitive structure of learners is conflicted through the stimulation of key events,followed by active thinking,analysis and exchange,thus obtaining new outlook on world,life and values and finally putting into practice for transformation.The adult disabled is a special group in the society,and they lose all or partial basic living abilities due to congenital or acquired reasons and cannot fully protect themselves or adapt to social life.With the proposal of Inclusive education,the barriers to social integration for the adult disabled are still prominent.Transformative learning is an important form of learning in the process of promoting social integration for the adult disabled.Through the stimulation of key events,the original meaning of the adult disabled can be shocked,changing the original cognitive style and life under this influence,so as to better integrate into society.This paper took the adult disabled as the research object to perform the qualitative research for the transformative learning of adult disabled based on social integration using literature research,interviews and case analysis.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,explaining the origin,purpose and significance of research,as well as the domestic and foreign research status,research thought and methods,emphasis,difficulty and innovation.The second chapter mainly introduces the theoretical basis of this paper,and focuses on the theory of social integration and transformative learning.In addition,it defines several important concepts in this paper.The third chapter is the in-depth interview according to the interview outline for individual case.The fourth chapter deeply analyzes the transformative learning of the adult disabled in the social integration process from the stage,characteristics,methods,obstacles,results and other dimensions of transformative learning according to the real case of the adult disabled,and summarizes the common feature of transformative learning of the adult disabled.The fifth chapter puts forward the strategies to promote the transformative learning of the adult disabled from the perspectives of individuals,training institutions,work units,family and society,so as to promote the social integration for them through transformative learning.
