Special post status of rural teachers' professional identity and job burnout directly affect the implementation of the rural education in our country.Therefore,the author regards it as a starting point for this study,discussing the condition of professional identity and job burnout and the relationship between them.This research adopts the method of convenience sampling and it extracts 130 rural special post teachers from 16 rural primary and secondary schools in Yi county of Hebei province.The paper regard teachers 'professional identity scale and job burnout scale questionnaire as measurement tools.Rural special post teachers' professional identity and the condition of job burnout and their relations were studied and analyzed by independent samples T-test,analysis of variance,correlation analysis and other methods.SPSS19.0 is adopted to analyze the data collected for statistical analysis in the study.The conclusion of the study(1)The results reveal that the overall level of rural special post of teachers' professional identity is rather high.In aspect of professional identity,teachers who are between 26 and 28 is higher than other age groups,and have the highest sense of professional identity;in view of role values and professional behavior,rural special post of teachers who have junior college degree are significantly higher than those who have bachelor degree;rural special post of teachers who teach at primary school are higher than those who teach at middle school.Gender,seniority,marriage,wages and other factors have no significant impact on rural special post of teachers in professional identity.(2)Rural special post teacher burnout is not too serious;there are special phenomena,that is,high emotional exhaustion,depersonalization and low sense of achievement.In aspect of low achievement dimensions,Teachers live in rural areas are higher than those who live in cities;teachers who teach at primary are higher than those who teach at secondary schools;unmarried teachers are higher than married ones.For rural special post of teachers,gender,age,education,seniority and other factors have no significant influence.(3)The correlation between rural special post of teachers and job burnout is not too high.However,it still has the negative correlation between both from the analysis of some factors.
